Our Story
We started Milford Books™ with a simple aim: to make it easier for independent authors to publish and distribute quality books that educate and inspire readers.
Milford Books™ primarily supports authors focused on civic engagement, nonprofits, leadership, climate change, and building more inclusive communities.
We also support children's authors who seek to empower young children with courage, kindness, and an understanding of the importance of community.

Our Author Services
Our services are tailored to the unique needs/interests of each author. We primarily work with authors in two genres: nonfiction and children's books. We offer free advice, consulting, and tailored services to authors who wish to self-publish, and hybrid publishing packages to those who want more support.
We provide consultative support, editing, cover design, internal layout and indexing. We'll help you produce quality books, obtain traditional editorial reviews, create effective marketing campaigns, optimize Amazon listings, and successfully pursue broad book distribution strategies (to libraries, bookstores, universities, and international audiences).
